Convert strokes to filled shapes (Outline Stroke)
Cutting machines, embroidery and some print workflows ignore stroke width. Outline Stroke turns each stroke into a filled shape of the same look.

How to convert strokes to shapes
- Click Outline strokes and open your file.
- Select the stroked paths.
- Choose Object › Path › Outline Stroke.
- Merge overlaps with Window › Pathfinder › Unite if you need one shape, then export.
