Remove text or a date stamp from an image
Old scans and camera photos often carry a date stamp; screenshots carry captions. Select the text and let Content-Aware Fill rebuild the background.

How to remove text from an image
- Click Remove text and open the image.
- Drag a selection tightly around the text.
- Choose Edit › Content-Aware Fill and click OK.
- Fix any repeated patterns with the Clone Stamp, then export.
Good to know
Only edit images you own or have the rights to change. Removing someone else's watermark to reuse their work is usually a copyright violation.
