How to make a Lottie animation
- Click Make a Lottie animation and create a New Composition, e.g. 512×512 at 30 fps.
- Draw shape layers and type layers, then set keyframes on Position, Scale, Rotation and Opacity with the stopwatch icons.
- Smooth the motion with Easy Ease (F9) and preview with the spacebar.
- Choose File › Export › Lottie JSON….
Good to know
Lottie supports vector shapes, text, masks and transforms. Raster effects like blurs and glows don't translate to Lottie and are flattened or skipped.
